About Jerry Seguin:
Our friend Gerald "Jerry" M. Seguin Jr., 68, of West Chazy, NY, passed away Nov. 15, 2020, after a brave and valiant fight with pancreatic cancer.

Jerry was a compassionate man that embraced every aspect of life. We all had the great pleasure of seeing his passion for the arts every summer during #JayInvitationofClay at Norte Maar in Jay.

Jerry spent over 40 years sharing his passion for art to many students at #NorthernAdirondackCentralSchool and he believed everyday was an art adventure. Post 'retirement' Jerry continued to teach and provide workshops locally pursuing his passion. His contributions to the Government Center mural and the Plattsburgh Public Library mural projects will continue to be a source of joy for all to remember and leaves a legacy. He liked to paint and do printmaking, but Jerry had a special affection for pottery and working with clay, which he enjoyed sharing with others.

Jerry was our “Bird Whistle Master” and our “Raku Fire Starter.” These were just two of the wonderful memories he left us.
